Who Are We

A Little About Our Faith Community

Eleva Lutheran has been the heart of the faith community around Eleva for over 125 years.

We are a community of believers called and inspired by Christ's love, sharing God's gifts through worship, teaching, service, and fellowship. We seek with joy God's vision of uniting all people in Christ through faith.

It is our mission to help you and your family grow in faith and build real relationships with your fellow Christians and with Christ.

About us

Visiting a new church can be a lot. We get it.

We like to think of our faith community as ordinary people that gather together in faith. Inspired in us by the Holy Spirit, drawing us to the invisible love of God that was made visible by Jesus Christ.

In that love, we welcome everyone to share in our ministry.

Our Beliefs

It's okay to laugh and have fun in church.

Pastor Karen Ressel

What to Expect

We offer a service with hymns, liturgical elements, intercessory prayers and Holy Communion every week. Special music is provided throughout each month. Our sanctuary is equipped with two  displays to enhance your experience during worship.

You are invited to join us at 9:00am.

Holy Communion

We offer Holy Communion every Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome to the Lord's table. If you are unable to come to the front for Communion, we will do our best to come to you at your seat. We believe all people should be able to take Holy Communion, we also offer home communion visitation once a month.

Intercessory Prayers

Intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others. As Christians, God calls all of us to be intercessors. Beginning this year we will be offering our intercessory prayers on behalf of each other. We will ask people to share their prayer requests during the service and then we will light a candle.
