When we say welcome it is more than just a casual hello, nice to see you. A welcome at Eleva Lutheran is welcoming you into Jesus' embrace as we walk his path to fulfilling the mission of the Church: to be disciples who make disciples.
We invite you to walk His path with us.
Eleva Lutheran has been the heart of the faith community around Eleva for over 125 years.
We are a community of believers called and inspired by Christ's love, sharing God's gifts through worship, teaching, service, and fellowship. We seek with joy God's vision of uniting all people in Christ through faith.
It is our mission to help you and your family grow in faith and build real relationships with your fellow Christians and with Christ.
We like to think of our faith community as ordinary people that gather together in faith. Inspired in us by the Holy Spirit, drawing us to the invisible love of God that was made visible by Jesus Christ.
In that love, we welcome everyone to share in our ministry.
Pastor Karen Ressel
Every Sunday we come together, in-person and online, to hear the Word of God and learn how to apply it to our lives outside of Sunday morning. We offer a service with hymns, liturgical elements, intercessory prayers and Holy Communion every week. Special music is provided throughout each month. Our sanctuary is equipped with two displays to enhance your experience during worship.
You are invited to join us at 9:00am.
Everyone is welcome to join worship in the Lord's house but we understand that sometimes it difficult to be there in person. Join us wherever you are at 9am on Sunday morning. If you missed the 9am service, the service replay will be available shortly after the live stream ends.

Music has always been an important part of ministry at Eleva Lutheran. We have two music groups as well as a many talented vocalist. Partners in Praise choir sings once a month. Kinge Kor, our bell choir, shares their music throughout the year. Our Sunday School sings once a month most months through out the church year.
We offer Holy Communion every Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome to the Lord's table. If you are unable to come to the front for Communion, we will do our best to come to you at your seat. We believe all people should be able to take Holy Communion, we also offer home communion visitation once a month.
Intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others. As Christians, God calls all of us to be intercessors. Beginning this year we will be offering our intercessory prayers on behalf of each other. We will ask people to share their prayer requests during the service and then we will light a candle.
Our worship service on Sunday morning is at 9:00am. If you are unable to make it to a service, you can join us online.
There is street parking around the church as well as a parking lot behind church. There is accessibility parking by each of the three entrances of the build.
Come as you are as the Lord cares more about what is in your heart than what is on your body. Dress as if you were meeting up with friends for a casual outing. Coming to service dressed up is perfectly fine as well.
We will always encourage families to bring their children to learn and experience the love of God. We do have a children's room next to the sanctuary where children can play during service.

Our church was established over 100 years ago so we do have some stairs and an elevator located at the back (west side) of our building. The rear entrance of our building also has the least amount of step to our upper level, while our side (south side) entrance has the least amount of steps to our lower level which, includes our Fellowship Hall.
