Music has a long tradition at Eleva Lutheran. We are well know for the God given musical talent that is shared through out the year and we are blessed to have these groups and individuals be a part of the ministry here at Eleva Lutheran!
"Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts" - Psalms 105:2

The children's choir at Eleva Lutheran as a long history going back many decades. Throughout the year, the children's choir will sing with our praise bands. The children practice on Sundays during Sunday School and perform for the congregation month.
New Sounds is our contemporary/modern music group. Created in the late 90's to offer a different variety of music, New Sounds is still offering a variety of newer music for the congregation once a month for for special services.
The 5th Sunday band is a newer band that helps lead worship throughout the year. As the name suggests, this band mostly plays during months with five Sundays and for special services. Believing that God appreciates all kinds of music, the 5th Sunday Band sings a mixture of country and gospel music along with a bit of picking on the side.
One of our favorite services of the year is Little Christmas Eve. This all music service on December 23rd of every year celebrates the birth of Christ but also all the musical talent, not just in our congregation, but the community of Eleva and Strum. We all have musical gifts that are worth sharing and what better time than to share those gifts than a couple days before Christmas. Even though we consider this an all music service, we also like to hear your poetry and storytelling gifts.
If you, your family, or you and friends would like to participate in Little Christmas Eve please contact the church office during the month of November.
