Hello families,

Your invited to Rally Sunday on October 6th, during the 9:00am worship service. We will have a blessing of the past and present

Sunday School teachers as well as the students. Starting at 10 am, students will go to their first day of Sunday School classes. Classes will end at 11 am. Parents can register students in the Sunday School office and make a suggested donation of $10/student or $20/family starting at 10 am.

Sunday School classes will all be downstairs this year. There will be two groups: 4K-2nd Grade and 3rd-6th Grade. We will have a Bible story based on the Picture the Bible series, a craft, and then music as a whole group. Parents are being assigned to assist in the classrooms for one Sunday this year. Times will be assigned and it is at the discretion of the parents to make other arrangements if that Sunday does not work for him/her. This is to help with limited teaching volunteers as well as to align with our Safe-Sanctuary policy of always having at least two adults with children. Reminders will be sent as well as information regarding the upcoming lesson.

On our first day of Sunday School (10/6), all students will be decorating a Bible bag. We would like these treated as you do a backpack for school. Please bring them each week for church and Sunday School. Once Bibles are received those should also be kept and brought each week to help students learn how to use their Bibles and become familiar with the pictures that accompany each story in preparation for their years in Affirmation of Baptism (confirmation).

Third and sixth grade students will be pulled from the upper level class as needed for their preparation for first communion and affirmation of baptism.

* 10/20: 4K-1st Grade Students receive “Picture the Bible”
* 10/27: 3rd-6th Grade Students receive Graphic Bible
* 11/10: Kids Sing in Church
* 12/15: Christmas Program during 9:00am Worship
* 12/22 & 12/29: No Sunday School
* 4/17: 3rd Grade Students receive 1st Communion
